Pool Rules

The indoor and outdoor swimming pools provide residents the opportunity for passive relaxation and active exercise.  Users should exercise self-discipline, courteous behavior and strict observance of posted rules.  A complete list of rules can be found in Article IV of the Resident Policies.

Children 14 & under must not use pool without adult in attendance.

All persons using the swimming pool do so at their own risk and assume sole responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use.

Shower required before entering pool.

Absolutely no glass, food or snacks allowed in the pool area!

Do not use pool with under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Any person having infectious or communicable disease is prohibited from using the pool.

Person have open blisters, cuts, etc., are advised not to use the pool.

Spitting, spouting water, blowing the nose or discharging bodily wasted in the pool is strictly prohibited.

Running, boisterous or rough play or excessive noise is forbidden in pool area.

Throwing objects of any kind is strictly prohibited.

Absolutely no diving, jumping or acrobatics off poor deck allowed.

Only arm bands, small floating rings for children, and approved swimming aids will be allowed in the pool.

Private swim suits and towels should be cleaned and dried after each use.

Dogs and other animals are not allowed in pool area.

Cutoffs or apparel other than swimming suits will not be permitted in the pool.

Do not remove pool furniture or exercise equipment from the rec building.

Violation of any of the above rules or inappropriate behavior gives management the right to deny pool privileges to anyone at their sole discretion.
