Recreational Area Management Board
Per Valhalla Management Association's By-Laws, each condominium board must elect one of its members to the Recreational Area Management Board (RAMB). The committee was reformed in March of 2019.

Executive Committee

A standing committee of the Master Board of Directors composed of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer along with representation of the General Manager and ad hoc representation of the Maintenance Supervisor.  The charge to the committee shall be to:
 
A. Study policies, procedures, and problems.
B. Review policy recommendations.
C. Make recommendations to the Board.
D. Prepare job description material for the General Manager.
E. Prepare performance evaluation documents for the General Manager.
F. Conduct performance evaluation interviews for the General Manager.
G. Recommend committee assignments.
H. Periodically meet jointly with members of other standing committees.
I. Take appropriate action when deemed necessary.

Finance Committee
A standing committee of the Master Board that will be composed of not less than two members drawn from the Board along with the General Manager.  The charge to the committee shall be to:
 
A. Monitor the financial developments of Valhalla and report changes to the Master Board.
B. Recommend an annual budget.
C. Recommend action to the Board on financial matters.

Building & Grounds Committee
The committee was dissolved during the March 2019 Master Board meeting, as the committee’s charge is covered within the Recreational Area Management Board.
 
A. Monitor various areas of the grounds, detached garages, parking lots, exterior of residential buildings, exterior lighting, concrete steps, and sidewalks.
B. Consider various options where repairs are needed.
C. Make recommendations to the Board regarding repairs and routine maintenance.
 
 
Garden Club
The committee was dissolved during the March 2019 Master Board meeting, as the committee’s charge is covered within the Recreational Area Management Board.
 
 
Long Range Planning Committee
The committee was dissolved during the March 2019 Master Board meeting, as the committee’s charge is covered within the Recreational Area Management Board.
 

Pool & Recreation Building Committee
The committee was dissolved during the March 2019 Master Board meeting, as the committee’s charge is covered within the Recreational Area Management Board.
 
A. Monitor usage of outdoor and indoor pools.
B. Recommend policies and/or procedures that will promote safe operation of our swimming pools, the recreation building, and surrounding areas.
C. Recommend the need for additional equipment or the repair of equipment or facilities that are in disrepair.
D. Call attention to and report the existence of non-compliant behavior when it is observed.
E. Periodically review and revise the written job description for the pool supervisors.
F. Organize, schedule, and implement a group of people to serve as pool supervisors during peak periods of outdoor pool use.
G. Periodically review and recommend compensation levels for Pool Supervisors.
H. Review periodic inspection reports received from the Olmsted County Health Department.
I. Monitor and assure compliance with the Public Swimming Pool Rules as established by the Minnesota Department of Health.
J. Monitor the usage and condition of the party room, its furniture and appliances, the exercise room, the saunas, and the men’s and women’s dressing room facilities.
K. Make recommendations regarding policies, practices, and procedures that will promote the continued welfare and physical integrity of our swimming pools and associated facilities.
 
Wage & Benefits Committee
The committee was dissolve during the March 2019 Master Board meeting, as committee's charge is covered within the Finance Committee
 
A. Review annually the financial compensation and benefits programs that apply to the various categories of employees here at Valhalla.
B. Recommend to the Board wage scale ranges for the employees at Valhalla.
C. Periodically review and recommend appropriate benefits packages and programs for employees at Valhalla.
 
 
Landlord Policies Ad-Hoc Committee
The committee was dissolved during the January 2019 Master Board meeting.
